Organic September

Organic_Sept_2015

Did you know that this month it is Organic September? Making the switch to Organic produce is not only beneficial for your health, but also for the environment. While it could be overwhelming to switch entirely to organic {at least in one go} the good news is that small changes really can make a big difference.

We already have a delivery of organic fruit and vegetables, and this month we’ve made a few more small changes. We’ve switched to Nairn’s organic oatcakes from our regular ones – they taste exactly the same and Baya loves them as a snack with peanut butter spread on! We’ve also tried some scrummy organic chocolate mylk buttons for a Saturday morning treat – great as G tries to avoid dairy so he can eat these as they are made from coconut milk!

My favourite switch has been for these Amy’s Kitchen soups! Now it’s autumn, soup is my favourite lunch. I often make a big pan up, but with a baby keeping me busy having some ready made soup in has been a life-saver. These organic {and gluten free} soups are so tasty I think they’ll be a pantry staple for us from now on!

I’ve shared a few more tips for switching to organic over on Momtastic!
