Affordable art for the home
Since moving into our new house, I’ve enjoyed having a blank canvas to decorate. At our old house, we had lots of photos and prints up on the walls. Some of those have gone or will go back up, but this is a good chance for a refresh. I used to have a gallery wall of kiddo photos on the stairs, I’m planning on buying a few multi-=aperture frames and re-jigging all of these around.
I’ve been looking for a few new pieces of art to go up on the walls, I especially wanted something for the living room. We came across this great website – Original Art under £100. As well as being affordable, it promotes up and coming artists.
They have an amazing range of art to suit any taste. I fell in love with this gorgeous piece by ‘Rising Above‘ by Sheryl Ashton. It’s a gorgeous, vibrant painting of a valley in autumn, and it looks perfet in my living room. Though I haven’t quite picked the perfect spot, so it’s keeping my record player company on the sideboard right now!
It’s a fantastic website if you are looking to buy a piece or two of original art on a small budgt. Some are even as low in cost as £25! I really recommend you go for a browse through their site.
