The magical world of Tulipop

A couple of weeks ago, an email pinged into my inbox that caught my attention. We’re big fans of cute and quirky characters such as Miffy, Hello Kitty and the Moomins, so these fab Tulipop Characters really caught my eye. I knew my kiddos would agree and I wasn’t wrong.

Launched in Iceland in 2010 by a mother of two and her best friend, Tulipop features both cuddly and gothic and strongly inspired by forms and colours in nature, the Tulipop world features intriguing characters such as Bubble, a shy and dreamy mushroom boy and Gloomy, an adventurous mushroom girl, who loves surprises and cheeky little pranks – challenging gender stereotypes.

They have a huge range of products featuring these characters, and I’m pretty certain my big kiddos would love each and everyone of them. They’re cute enough for little kids, and quirky enough to still be cool when you’re an almost-teenager.. Tulipop were kind enough to send Kiki and Baya a Bubble Lamp for their bedroom. The light is soft and warm, perfect for a nightlight. While kiki is happy to sleep in the dark, Baya still likes a little light – this is the perfect compromise as it’s light, but not too light. Plus, it’s the cutest nightlight I’ve ever seen {I kinda want one for my bedroom…}
