December Nonabox and Project B box reviews
I’ve been testing out the Nonabox for the past few months, and I really look forward to it arriving each time! A little box full of surprises is always good mail! I also received a Project
Nonabox is £25 a month, though you get a discount if you take out a subscription. In the Nonabox this time was a Summer Infants Straw Cup and also a Nasal aspirator, a cute hair bow from Petiotes, a pouch of Quinola baby food, a MAM anti-colic bottle and some nipple care products from Purple Orchid.
My favourite product at the moment is the Multi-Mam Balm – I’ve been using it for hte past two weeks on my nipples after feeds, and have totally avoided any soreness or chapping, which I really struggled with in the first few weeks when the girls were little. It’s made feed time so much less stressful – I remember dreading feeds when my nipples were raw as I knew it was going to hurt. So, this is definitely on my essentials list for all new mums! The baby food looks and sounds so good – I’ll be looking forward to him testing it out in a few months time. We haven’t tried out the bottle yet, but I’m planning on introducing a bottle of expressed milk in an evening soon. Papa can then feed him, I can get a little extra sleep and I know if I have to go out, he can have milk from a bottle so I don’t have to worry quite so much!
This is the first Project B box I have had, each one is aimed at a different stage of pregnancy/baby hood – so this is for a new mama/new born baby. At £14 a month, there are 7 themed boxes for each stage of pregnancy. I received the 40+ box – called ‘Arrive’
My favourite item is the Baba + Boo nappy – a funky print, and I’m a big fan of cloth nappies – can’t wait to put this one to the test! I haven’t come across the Nordic Wipes before, but they sound interesting, although as I use cloth nappies I tend to also use washable wipes.
Again, the bottle that came in this box {a NUK First Choice} hasn’t been tested out yet, but will come in handy once we’ve introduced a bottle. I’ve also been using the Halos n Horns Moisturising Lotion on Vega this week, as he has a little dry skin on his tummy and legs.
I really love these subscription boxes, I think they make a great baby shower gift, and especially for first time mum’s can be a great way to try out new products.
