Christmas Chocolate Bark
Not
Supplies You’ll need 300g or so of bittersweet chocolate {I shared this out between the three girls, and they ended up with around a dozen squares of chocolate bark each}, and then any sprinkles/toppings you like.
Steps 1// Melt the chocolate over a pan of water. Place a piece of greaseproof paper onto a tray, and spoon the melted chocolate onto it. Spread it out into a rectangle. 2// Decorate with your choice of toppings. We used Christmassy toppings this time – edible glitter, silver balls, sugar stars and some red sprinkles. 3// Leave to set then chop into squares!
To gift this, I use little cellophane bags fastened with a length of ribbon. It tastes scrummy and looks far more impressive than just handing someone a chocolate bar ;)

December 19, 2014 at 23:21Oh this looks like so much fun – where did you get the bittersweet chocolate from (or do you just mean very dark chocolate) because I always find it hard to get bittersweet near me and opt for the 80% coco kind from the local supermarket. I’m deffo going to make this with the little man
