I was contacted a couple of weeks ago by Sarah from i am sjm ceramics, asking if I would like to review some of her handmade porcelain jewellery and decorations. The very fact that she was selling a guinea pig brooch was enough to make me say yes!

The pieces are all handmade in the heart of London, beginning life as a piece of clay which takes 2-3 weeks to be transformed into the finished piece. I love that no two pieces are identical due to being handmade. The pieces themselves are exquisite. As well as a Guinea Pig, we also received a gorgeous blackbird brooch. They are incredibly well made, and presented in gorgeous gold gift boxes they’d make fantastic gifts this Christmas.

The ornaments would look as at home on a Christmas tree as they would hanging up all year round! I especially love these little penguin ornaments.
