52 Weeks of Gratitude – Week Twenty-Seven
What
- Cake – G came home the other day with a yummy pastry from the Portuguese Cafe for me
- Movies – it’s the Films for Schools week, and as home educators, we get to go along for free movies too! The cinema messed up yesterday and put the wrong movie on – meaning we got to watch the new ‘Book of Life’ film which was amazing
- That Lola is big enough to go to her Papa’s work and get his keys when I locked me and the girls in the front yard! {We have a 6 foot metal gate that we keep locked, we went outside, and Lola shut the front door which has a Yale lock just as I realised I hadn’t picked up my keys meaning we were locked between the front door and the gate! Thankfully, I managed to get Lola over the gate and she ran and got G’s keys and freed us all!}
- Fruit Salad – after dropping my lasagne on the kitchen floor and thus loosing my dinner, G saved the day with a giant bucket of fruit salad. SO yummy
- Bump rubs from my girlies…… it’s so sweet how Kiki and Baya love rubbing my bump, talking to Beastie and giving him kisses!
- Cosy evenings snuggled on the sofa – seriously, these dark evenings are making me feel like hibernating. I’ve been making the most of snuggling up on the sofa, with a hot water bottle and book.
- Online friends – as a work at home mama, I’d be lost without my online friends – meaning there is always someone to chat to anytime of the day!
- A husband who makes lunch… nothing tastes as good as food that is made for you ;)
- Working from home – means if I want, I can work in my PJ’s ;)
- It’s Friday…. so ready for this week to be done and a new one to start!
How’s your week been?

November 9, 2014 at 12:47It is totally hibernating weather! And I agree, food cooked by someone else always tastes better – I often go off dinner by the time I have made it! Heres to a better week next week x

November 9, 2014 at 20:59I’m so sorry it’s been such a nightmare week and I really hope the next one is amazing in comparison!! How scary to be locked out like that – like being in prison!! And I am so with you on the hibernating…it’s all I want to do!

November 9, 2014 at 21:43I’ve worked in my Pjs once… then I got called to school, I wasn’t ready… it wasn’t good… I am trying to get dressed before walking to work (aka office on the first floor in my home) :-)
I hope next week will be much more kind to you.
