52 Weeks of Gratitude – Week Twenty-Three

  1. Enjoying all the beautiful colours of autumn this week – even though my lawn is now carpeted in leaves!
  2. Thankful for a very wriggly and active baby – it’s great to feel him moving around
  3. Happy that we’re getting new windows in the bathroom, kitchen and living room soon – they’ll keep us cosy this winter and block out the sound of the karaoke from the pub next door {I hope!!}
  4. That even though I’ve been waking up with a bad back ache most nights, I can get comfy again on the sofa and grab a few more hours sleep
  5. Plus Papa let me have a long nap on Tuesday after a restless night
  6. A home-ed pizza making session at Frankie and Bennies on Tuesday – we had such fun AND got to eat pizza
  7. Amond Croissant – a naughty treat yesterday
  8. A box full of craft bits for the girls from their Grandma – they love to make things as much as I do!
  9. Baths – I’ve felt like I’ve spent half the week in the tub – between my back hurting and it being cold, it’s my favourite place to be
  10. That G has this whole weekend off – that doesn’t happen very often

    I love this list, but the baby wriggling around sounds the most special (a long, long time ago for me!) I am grateful for the children they are though. So special.

    Enjoy G’s weekend off and I hope the new windows mean less noise. I am not sure I could cope with karaoke!

    Fab list…I’m loving the autumn leaves too! It’s so lovely when you have a weekend off together, it doesn’t happen that often for us too so we try and make the most of it when it does! xx
