What Baya Wore

This little miss is such a cutie…. and she knows it!! Seriously though, she’s a sweet little thing, but can give as good as her sisters dish out. I think she’s excited to be a big sister when the little man makes an appearance – so far she’s told me she’s going to feed him, change him, dress him, put him to bed… looks like I’m going to have an easy time!

She was in need of a new pair of trainers {brand new and not a pair of her sisters hand-me-downs for a change!} so we took a walk the other day to check out the brand new Clarks store we have in town. They’d kindly sent us some vouchers so we could pick her out a pair of shoes. As soon as we walked in the store I knew which ones she’d pick. Pink and with flashing lights in the heels, I think these are most five year old girls ideal trainers!

She took her ticket and waited her turn for the store assistant to call her to get her feet measured. Thankfully, they had her size in stock {phew} so we walked home with a very happy little girl proudly carrying the box. From a Mama point of view, I love that they’re fitted not only to length but to width too, to ensure a perfect fit. Plus they fasten with velcro straps, so are easy for her to put on, and no fiddly laces to hold us up.

They’ve barely come off her feet since we brought them home, and she walks around the house stamping her feet to see the flashing lights!
