one // two // three // four

After having re-decorated most of our house recently, I’ve been on the lookout for a few new prints for my walls. I love having beautiful illustrations all around my house – I just wish I had more wall space so I could add in even more!

These are my favourites at the moment. Number four is actually drawn by my lovely friend Lauren who also made me my blog header. I have a couple of her prints already on my wall – her style matches mine perfectly :) I’ve a few fox print things, I’ve always been ‘an owl girl’ but lately I’ve been loving foxes more and more! The girl drinking tea would be perfect for in my kitchen, and the first one I’m thinking could live above my dressing table!

What are your walls like – full of photos/art work or clean spaces?

Lovely! I actually just discovered Lauren’s blog the other day and her art is beautiful! My walls are pretty packed. . .I am constantly putting up new things and taking other’s down. The living room is mainly family photos, but our bedroom holds my inspiration wall above my desk – full of art and things I find lovely and inspiring!

I do have a number of art pieces on my walls, from photography, to oils, acrylics, pastels and needlework. Unfortunately my home doesn’t have nearly the blank wall space that I would like – too many doors and windows. :(

Our walls are currently clean spaces (well…apart from all of our 2 year olds grubbby little finger marks!) but I’m planning to fill them with art work. Our 4 year old has done some lovely pieces of art at school that I want to frame and I recently bought this fantastic fish print! http://audreyandillya.bigcartel.com/product/big-fish-lino-print I have family pics to print and display as well. Spring is such a great time for rearranging spaces, repainting walls and bringing more colour into the home.
