Journal Prompts – All About Me

ALL ABOUT ME JOURNAL PROMPTS

Another set of journal prompts for a new month! I can’t believe it’s April already! – this year is flying by. These prompts can be used in anyway you like – in your diary, for an art journal, just to think about… The kiddos all have journals, usually three or four mornings a week, we all sit down together first thing for a journal session. It’s a great way to get them to practice a little writing, and to record some of the things that they do or things that they love. Some mornings I give them free reign to write/draw/collage about whatever they like. Other days I like to have a prompt for them – it’s interesting to see how differently they all interpret a prompt.

We have a basket full of journaling supplies, watercolours, coloured pencils, paper, washi tape, odds and ends we’ve collected. I usually put it on the table first thing in a morning, then as everyone wakes up and comes downstairs, we all meet around the table for some creative time. It seems to set us off for a great day when we start with some journaling!

This months prompts are ‘All about me’ – perfect to get you {or your little ones} thinking about the things that matter most, the things you really love, things that you are grateful for and where you want to be in a year

Do you keep a journal?

if you click on the image, it will open a larger, printable file :) also, you can see previous journal prompts here

Oh I love these. Wish I had time to write a journal. Maybe I’ll use them for blog post inspiration instead! Thanks!
