Right here, right now…
Happy
Here’s what I’ve been up to lately:
Reading: The Rainbow Way: Cultivating Creativity in the Midst of Motherhood I saw a friend mention on IG that the kindle version was just 99p right now, so I hopped on over and grabbed a copy. I LOVE it!! Such an amazing book, the words really resonate with me and I would highly recommend reading it. I’ve skim read through the whole thing, now I’m back at the beginning, working my way through all the exercises she suggest.
Creating: A whole new range of jewelry for my shop. Some popular oldies are returning, along with some new lines too! They’ll all be live on Monday. Oh, and the shop got a mini facelift too!
Doing: Working out…. been a long time coming, I’d neglected my workout routine for way too long… Felt SO good to get back into it – will be talking more about that this coming week.
Loving: The fact that I finally started meal planning again. Seriously. Come five o’clock every day I have that ‘what should I make for dinner’ panic… my mind goes blank and we end up eating the same thing every.single.day. I took the time last weekend to sit down, browse through a heap of cookbooks for inspiration and map out our main meal each day for the coming month. Makes my life so much easier, one less thing to think about each day, and it means I can see at a glance what groceries I need to pick up that week. Plus when I meal plan, we eat more interesting meals and different things each day!
Thinking about: Holidays…. we’re starting to think about a holiday or two this year… other than trips to see family, we’re planning on going to a festival again this summer and probably going to Center Parcs in the Autumn. Love having a few holidays marked on the calendar to look forward to!
How about you? What are you doing right now?

January 25, 2014 at 15:40Meal planning is an absolute life saver for us, too, or we end up eating more sausages and mash than be considered normal.
Have a lovely weekend!

January 25, 2014 at 19:38Hi, OOHHH Thanks for that, just downloaded the book, and looking forward to reading it, and hopefully getting some inspiration. I hate that feeling of panic when you don’t know what to cook for tea. If I am organised I feel so much more relaxed. xx

January 26, 2014 at 04:01I think I’ll be giving that book a look-see – it sounds like something I’d enjoy! I plan my meals weekly. Every Sunday I bust out the cookbooks and Pinterest recipes and plan my meal and grocery list for the week. It really does take a massive amount of stress out of my life! And I too have been planning some trips for our little family! I really want to do more camping this summer. I’ve found a couple places right along a river that just seem perfect – I love waking up in a tent! Enjoy the rest of your weekend – unplanned weekends are so wonderful.

January 26, 2014 at 19:28I REALLY NEED TO MEAL PLAN!! That is exactly what I do, it gets to tea time and I never know what to make so we eat pasta pretty much every night of the week. I’m sick of it and really need to sort it out! And I really need to do some exercise too x

January 26, 2014 at 19:42meal planning is where it’s at. It seems such a hassle until I do it, and then I remember how much easier it makes my life every meal time! and yes…. unfortunately I’m not 20 anymore and can’t get away with not exercising!

December 11, 2014 at 04:20Having read this I thought it was extremely enlightening. I appreciate you taking the time and energy to put this article
together. I once again find myself personally spending a lot of
time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worthwhile!
