Crafty Fun >>>>

My girlies are like their mama – they LOVE to craft! Our table is constantly covered in crafty stuff… and usually a fair sprinkling of glitter! So when we got the chance to go shop for some goodies to make a craft with courtesy of the Collective Bias™ Social Fabric® Community they were just a little excited :p

crafting inspiration

We spent some time browsing a spring-y craft magazine for some ideas, they like the look of these pretty spring vase’s. So we headed off to Dunelm Mill to see what we could find.

It’s one of my favourite shops in town to head to for fabrics and ribbons, and the girls love the craft department. They have a huge range of charms, buttons and other pretty things that catch little {and big} girls eyes!

so many ribbons! final purchases

It took us a while, but finally they made their choices, ribbons to wrap around the tin cans and some buttons and stickers to decorate them with after.

When we got back home, they were eager to get to work. Lots of gluing and wrapping and decorating. Making sure they were just right. The finished vase’s looked perfect full of some pretty spring daffodils! You can see more photos on my Google+ album

What a cute idea, I think I will steal it for my daycare kiddos.
