& 2 – testing out the colour splasherz set that we got… it as a HUGE hit with the girls, they had fun watching the beads change colour and creating jewelry with them. such a great kit, my girls really liked it!
– sunday’s egg haul… the hens like to hide their eggs in a new nest every couple days… last sunday we found 30 {!} we’ve had half a dozen through the week, and then lola found these on sunday!
– lola all dressed up ready for a saturday night disco! she had a blast… and i got a view into many saturday nights to come ;)
– it rained too much sunday morning to head to the carboot, so we went out for lunch instead!
– we found a little ladybird hiding in a book… it gave us the chance to set up the ladybird world we received… he’s quite happy letting us watch him {we’re releasing him today!} it’s a great little set with everything you need {excluding the ladybirds and leaves!} we’re hoping that now the sun is shining a little more we’ll find a few friends for him! the girls love being able to see him up close, this kit is perfect for exploring nature and watching ladybirds with your kiddos
– a little sewing time…. an hour and two metres of fabric and i made two skirts for me and one each for the kiddos
– we ended the weekend with an impromptu fire with friends

i hope you all had a fun weekend too? what did you get up to?
