hello spring
found via pinterest ~ if you know the original source please let me know!

happy spring my loves! i hope that your first day of spring yesterday was a good one. we spent the day at chester zoo – an early birthday treat for miss baya! we got to see the baby elephants and the baby rhino :) 7 full hours walking around was tiring but super fun!

i love the beginning of spring ~ seeing the world coming back to life after the long, cold winter. the blossom is back on the trees and the first shoots are coming through in my vegetable garden. those little signs of life carry with them a whole lot of hope. hope of a fresh start and new life.

it’s not just in the garden that life is re-awakening. inside of us too, we can feel something stirring in our soul. many of us ‘hibernate’ through the winter ~ perhaps not physically, but a part of us has lain dormant over the winter. the lighter mornings, the suns rays and those signs of new life growing begin to stir us out of our dormancy.

we feel the pull of mother nature, the calling to shed our winter skin and to emerge stronger and renewed.

spring signals a chance to put in motion new ideas, new plans and new goals.

i like to start spring by de~cluttering my house, giving it a good clean. smudging it to remove the last of the winters energy. on a sunny morning, when the sun is streaming through my windows, i open all the windows, turn up the tunes and welcome in spring.

spring is the perfect time to re-birth yourself. the changing of the seasons is a time to change yourself also. what is it that you hope for yourself? what dreams to you have? what new life are you ready to bring about?

my energy levels always increase as the days grow longer, i feel vibrant and full of life, full of creativity and ready for a whole load of new adventures.

what ways are you bringing new life into being?
how are you welcoming joy back into your life?

Happy Spring! I love this time of year. Giving everything around here a good dust off and getting our garden beds ready to go. So excited for sun, longer days, and blooms popping up everywhere!

Happy Spring!!! Oh wow, Ostara was AMAZING. I had a two hour psychiatrist appointment, and my psychiatrist gave me AMAZING information. Jen and I went grocery shopping and stocked up on lovely foods. I came home and had a stone reading, which I just blogged about. Than Jen and I went outside, I colored Ostara eggs and we had a peaceful night. So thankful!!! Autumn is my favorite season, but Spring is definitely my second. <3

I’m attempting a huge decluttering/spring cleaning. Then will burn sage and cleanse the old stuck energy of a long winter. Also walks – lots of walks in the woods.
    love that pic!
    peace~

I could not agree with you more! Although a lot of the US is having a record setting long winter, spring is coming. Yesterday, I heard the beautiful song of a bird and saw it was a bright red cardinal. Even though we have several feet of snow that hasn’t melted yet, the cardinal was gracing my presence. I can’t wait to start planting and seeing everything blossom. I have never smudged before, but I am very curious as to how! Have you done a post on this? If not, you should! :] Hope all is well, love!
