i took advantage of the sun yesterday and snapped these pics. don’t be fooled though – it’s freezing here again right now! i’m eager for it to warm up, mainly as our baby chicks are getting big and are almost ready to be outside, but i don’t want them out until it’s above freezing!
the first couple days this week have been great, i’ve gotten a few things ticked off my to-do list. then i woke up to the news that my grandma died this morning :*( we’re all feeling a little sad, i think we’ll have a easy kinda day, maybe just hang out together and do some art. she was in her nineties and had lived a good long life, though it doesn’t make it any less sad. we’re hoping to travel back for the funeral when we know when it is. times like this make you realise just how precious life is. grab it with both hands and do what you love – life is too short to live a life you aren’t in love with.

I bought a pair of skinny jeans so I could be all chic and tuck them into my boots, like you did above, but for some reason they’re too long (or I’m too short xP) and they keep bunching up. Wah!
