Review | Mixit Magazine
I
We were asked to review the new Mixit Magazine, published by DJ Murphy Publishing, that is a totally unique multi-character magazine for girls aged 4-9. They arrived in perfect timing, as last Saturday poor Miss Baya wasn’t feeling very well, so stayed home when Kiki and Beastie went out with their dad for a couple of hours. She was pleased to have something fun to cheer her up and keep her busy while sat on the sofa.
The magazines came with free gifts on the cover – and they were lovely gifts – one had a dance ribbon and some lip gloss, the other stickers, cards, nail varnish, nail stickers, and files – she was very pleased with the gifts! The magazine itself features popular kids brands such as Shopkins, DC Superhero Girls, Lego Friends and others. It’s an interactive and fun-packed magazine that includes stories, quizzes, cartoons, things to make, bake and do, collectible posters, games, and more. Baya loved the focus on focus on collectibles and ‘unboxing’. It exclusively features key influencers and box-openers from the vlogging community, Emily Tube and Creative Celeste.
I thought the price tag of £3.65 was reasonable, given the good content and the cover gifts – it really kept her busy for a few hours, compared to some magazines she’s bought that cost more and were so full of advertisements it was barely ten minutes reading. I’m sure Mixit Magazine will be a hit with lots of little girls – I’m sure mine will be looking out for the next issue! Mixit magazine is available at all good supermarkets and independent newsagents!
