Furthermore, any visitors to your house are sure to notice the change when they enter the room and surely compliment you on your interior deco prowess. You can even go a step further than just rearranging the room and try to make everything in the room align with Feng Shui making your room more peaceful and spiritual.

Just make sure that whatever art you hang up, matches the overall aesthetic of your room, if you have red walls, maybe a big green painting isn’t the best choice.

You don’t even have to shell out for some fancy art if you, your partner or one of your little ones have an artistic flair, why not hang up something they’ve made. It’ll be sure to be a personal touch to your room that will always remind you of great memories.

  • Get Some New Blinds

There’s nothing worse in the in Spring & Summertime than having the sun blasting directly into your eyes making it impossible to see, or directly onto your TV making whatever is on a blur. This is even worse with curtains as you have the choice of being blinded by the light, or plunging your room into darkness as curtains are very on/off in how they deal with the sun.

This makes blinds the perfect choice in the Summer, you can control how much light you let into the room, not enough to blind you but not too much as to cut out all the light coming into your room. This will cover up the sofa with something new, making it look like a whole new piece of furniture, also whilst it’s still spring it can get cold quickly in the evening, making a throw excellent as it can double up as a blanket to wrap up in when it’s miserable out.
