Review + Giveaway || NEW Yvonne Ellen Range at Wax Lyrical

I love my house smelling nice, there is always a diffuser on, some incense burning or a scented candle lit. So when Wax Lyrical offered to send me some samples of the new Yvonne Ellen range that has just launched, I was excited!

Yvonne Ellen usually creates unique and quirky tableware with beautiful bone china, vintage ceramics and quirky, decorative illustrations. Her brand began with a hand illustrated tea set which was designed for a friend’s wedding gift. After some incredible feedback she decided to sell her designs to a wider audience. The collection is made up of four wax filled glass candles, four reed diffusers and a votive gift set meaning you can share your love of these gorgeous fragrances with your friends and family.

I was sent a glass candle, a reed diffuser and the votive gift set. Even the packaging was beautiful – I am a bit of a sucker for pretty things in my home! The reed diffuser I received was the ‘Tranquil Tide’ one, and oh boy does it smell good! It has ended up on my desk, and my office {and the upstairs} smells amazing! It’s a really relaxing scent, perfect for helping me concentrate when I’m trying to work. It has calming notes of lavender, cardamom and geranium.

I also got a 190g gram glass candle in ‘Wild Jasmine’ fragrance. It came in a gorgeous box featuring a giraffe and a deep blue shade, the candle itself is white in a beautiful blue glass holder. The fragrance is described as rich and sensual with intense oud and delicate saffron enveloped by rich jasmine, white sandalwood and musky amber. I can tell you that it smells absolutely amazing! This is one for my bedroom I think!

The votive candle set is made up of three votive candles: exotic fig, vintage palm and wild jasmine. They are all gorgeous scents and such pretty jars that they would make for a wonderful gift.

I love this new line from Wax Lyrical, they smell good AND look good, so tick both boxes there. They are perfect additions to your home, keeping it smelling gorgeous, whilst not looking out of place.
