Let’s talk hair loss
Around half of women suffer some kind of hair loss, it’s quite common after pregnancy, and can really affect your self-esteem. Especially for women, so much of our sense of self is wrapped up in our hair, that when it starts falling out or thinning we can feel less feminine. I’m lucky in that I never really experienced significant hair loss after any of my babies, yet hair loss can also happen as we age.
There are all sorts of myths as to what causes hair loss – from overusing hairdryers to too much product in our hair. Lloyd’s pharamacy have put together a really useful infographic to help debunk some of these myths, and also highlight the hair loss treatment that could help to reverse the problem.
Have you suffered from hair loss? Have you found anything that has helped?
