Happy #5

vega and papa

I started this series last year, and then somewhere along the way I just never got around to carrying on with it. I’m picking back up where I left off – it fits with my goals for this year to sit and remember all the happy things in my life – making a little gratitude list is so important I think. It really is the little things that we should be thankful for, and I know that when you’re tired, or feeling a bit fed up, having a list of all the good stuff in your life helps to cheer you up!

* Thankful for a husband who helps {as much as he can} at night… Vega is still not sleeping great, and a couple of times he’s taken over for a bit so I can sleep… if only I had detachable boobs ha!

* I’ve been doing a little decluttering this week, and it’s SO good for the soul! As I’ve cleared out the junk from our house, I feel like my mind has cleared off junk too

* A delivery of goods ready for us to start our Live Lagom project…. an IKEA delivery is always a happy thing, no?!

* That I get to do something I love so much for a living. I’ve worked my ass off the last few years and I’m so grateful that my hard work has paid off and I get to work home doing something I really enjoy – even if it is bloody hard work {esp with 4 kiddos home 24/7 too!]

* No school runs – with some really rubbish nights sleep lately, I’m always happy in the morning that I can catch up on sleep and lay in with the kiddos until 8 rather than having to rush around to get us all to school on time {my number one reason why home ed rocks!}

What has made you happy this week?

    I lovely list and well done on the decluttering – it always feels so great doesn’t it? I’ve had a relaxing week, I saw a friend on Wednesday and I’m going to a gig tomorrow. Happy days. Have a lovely weekend sweetie. x

    YAY! I used to love your happy / thankful lists, they always made me consider mine so I’m glad there back! I’m soooooo jealous about the lagom project & looking forward to seeing more! I need to declutter the girls room, which is easier said than done when they suddenly need toys they haven’t looked at for four years ;)
