Vega – #WBabyWT

THe best thing about being a boy and having three big sisters means that you get brand new clothes {unlike Baya, who as the youngest girl gets hand me downs that sometimes not only have her two sisters worn but so have two of her cousins!!}. For me though, it’s not such a good thing…. I have to buy more clothes! Truthfully, it’s actually quite nice shopping for boy clothes after 12 years of dressing girls.

I have found how much harder it is to find nice boys stuff… or at least boys stuff I like. I’m pretty fussy it turns out – I like bright colours, funky prints, not so keen on baby blue or things that say ‘Mummies little…’ or ‘Daddies little…’

Vega has never been a tiny baby, and those gorgeous newborn clothes that I bought for him only fitted for a few days. At 8 months old he’s currently in 12-18 month size clothes. He was lucky enough to get sent some fab new outfits from the babywear range by George at Asda.

We’ve had lots of the girls clothes from George over the years, and they are always great value and great quality. Even given how picky I am, I still managed to pick out some great pieces for Vega – I especially love the onesies and vests. The star trousers are actually part of a PJ set but I think they look funky enough to wear in the day too!
