Bedroom Inspiration
Our bedroom always seems to be the messiest room in the house… I think it’s in part to it being the one room that guests don’t see, so any ‘junk’ that needs sorting away seems to end up in there out of sight! Plus we also keep our cross trainer in our bedroom, as it’s the only place for it…
What I’d really like is a calm, clear space that’s a functional and peaceful hideaway. We’re still figuring out what we’re doing in the long term, I’m trying to focus on pieces that could come with us if we move, rather than more permanent changes to the room.
A new bed has been top of my list for ages, and I’m in love with this gorgeous wooden bed frame. Teamed with these ‘Sweet Dreams’ pillows and a chunky knitted throw blanket it would be a cosy and inviting spot to snuggle down in.
A sheepskin rug on either side of the bed, makes for getting out on a chilly morning a little more appealing! With a baby on the way, and night-feeds imminent, a bedside lamp is essential. I love the stylish simplicity of this one.
Our bedrooms walls are white, making the room bright and clean feeling, they need a few bursts of colour to break the whiteness up. This wall art would be perfect for over the bed.

September 26, 2014 at 07:53Love the art and love the throw. Our house is always messy with toddlers and as a result we keep our bedroom spotless and its a little safe haven. Its a huge room with lots of space and minimal furniture… its great to close the door at the end of a long day.
