Today We…..
……spent the morning playing in the shade, it’s lovely and hot here again today, we’re heading down to the river later on. Baya received this Ben and Holly playset yesterday, she’s seen the show once or twice when we’ve been visiting {we don’t have TV at home}, it’s a cute little fairy castle, complete with magic wands that open chests, turn fires on and make the little fairy folk fly…. seems her big sisters had as much fun playing as her! They made up a huge, elaborate game with it so it certainly fired up their imaginations :) We also got a set of wooden picture dominoes, great quick game to play and I think we’ll be packing them to take on holiday with us too!

July 9, 2013 at 16:55we just hung out – both kids at home under the weather but this brings with it our own rhythm … that we all sorely miss during term time. There has been TV today as they need to rest tho I don’t like them watching much normally. We’ve played games and I’ve really taken pleasure in doing spellings, writing and reading with Zander … something I forgot I liked … I’m trying to ‘show up’ more for them as I realise how distracted I have become … not good, but noticing it and affirming to do otherwise is massively helping me change ;) love to you mama x
