The 2019 Summer Holiday Packing List

Are you heading off on your summer holiday soon? It can be a nightmare trying to make sure that you have everything that you need, especially when you have a whole family to take care of. You’ll need to make sure that everyone has their travel documents and that you have the clothing that suits the weather.

To help you with this, we have put together a 2019 summer holiday packing list. Keep reading if you need some advice on what to bring with you.

Travel Documents

First things first, you need to make sure that you are ready to travel with your passport and any visas that you might need. If you are travelling within Europe then you might not need a visa right now but any travel to the USA, Canada or even places like Turkey could require a visa. We suggest that you have this well in advance of your travel and don’t forget to print a record of it to bring with you just in case.

Your travel documents are arguably the most important thing on your packing list so make sure that they are in there.

Beach Wear

Going on a beach holiday? You’re going to need clothing that suits this type of weather so make sure that you do your research. For a beach holiday, we would suggest bathing suits, bikinis, shorts, dresses and short sleeved tops. You’ll find that at this time of the year, many shops are kitted out with all of the beach wear that you need.

Make sure to have a look at what the weather is going to be like when you get there. For holiday destinations close to the coast, we suggest bringing a jacket or a cardigan for the evenings when there might be a cold breeze.

Vape Kit

Small and compact vape kits are the must-have accessory this year and so you need to make sure that you remember to pack yours before you jet off on your summer holiday. You might want to check out the restrictions on bringing these abroad, but you shouldn’t have too much of an issue with it.

If you don’t already have your own vape kit, then don’t worry because you can browse a range on this site. Make sure to pick one up so that you can enjoy the relaxing flavours and be bang on trend.

Sun Protection

If you are going somewhere hot and sunny on your summer holiday, then you need to make sure that you pack lotion that is going to protect you and your family from the UV rays. Sunburn can be very dangerous to your skin and so you need to make sure that you are protected at all times. We suggest that you pick up some of the stronger lotions in order to protect against the hottest parts of the day.

If you run out when you are there, you should be able to pick some more up so don’t worry about this. Pack your sun tan lotion and you can protect your family.

Adaptors

For those travelling outside of the UK, you will find that your usual plugs don’t fit into their sockets. For this reason, your adaptors need to be in your bag ready for your big summer holiday in 2019. The good news is that you can invest in universal adaptors that can be used in many different countries. This way, you won’t have to buy new ones every time you travel somewhere new.

Don’t forget to pack your adaptors or you risk not being able to use your electronics when you are on holiday. This would mean no straighteners, phone chargers and much more!

Travel Currency

The final thing on our 2019 summer holiday packing list is travel currency that you can get your hands on before your trip. If you are travelling to mainland Europe, you’ll find that the currency is Euros whereas in the USA they use dollars and so on. While many banks allow you to use the ATM when you are there, this will start to rack up huge fees as well as the cost of conversion.

Make sure to pick up some travel currency before you go, and you’ll be ready for your summer holiday. If you don’t want to be carrying a lot of cash around with you, you can always pick up a travel currency card.

If your 2019 summer holiday is coming up soon then you need to make sure that you have everything on our list.
