Review || Nomads Clothing

I don’t often buy myself new clothes, I mainly try and pick up pieces second hand. When I do splash out on new clothing, it’s important to me that it’s ethically produced. That’s why I am so thrilled to be partnering with Nomads as an ambassador. I was first introduced to their clothing around three years ago at a press event for Lionheart Magazine – I still love the kimono I picked up then!

Nomads produce so many gorgeous pieces, not only are they ethically produced, but they are made with natural fibres and GOTS certified organic cotton, and all the prints are created with Azo free, environmentally approved dyes. The prints are absolutely stunning too, and I have always found the clothing to be fantastic quality.

I’ve picked up a few pieces from their most recent collection – opting for ones that work well with a bump! I sized up on tops, but actually, I didn’t need to, the sizing is generous and the pieces I picked are all quite flowy so would have worked regardless. They have some gorgeous print trousers at the minute – I can’t wait until I can fit back into ‘normal’ trousers so I can snag a pair or two!

I picked up four fantastic pieces to transition my wardrobe into spring. Two tops, a wrap dress and the most gorgeous spring jacket. The Honey Crochet Trim vest is just lush – my favourite colour top, and it is so pretty and perfect teamed with jeans for spring. The other top is the Navy Scooped Hem Tunic, which works so well with a baby bump {but equally as well without one!}. It’s light and airy and looks great with jeans or leggings.

I love a wrap dress when I’m pregnant, it grows with your belly, and always feels so comfy to wear. I love this Lagoon Kimono Tunic Dress, the fabric feels so silky on. It looks equally as good dressed up for a night out as it does with pumps and leggings for daywear. It’s such a gorgeous, spring colour too – just wearing it makes me feel happier.

The last piece I chose was the Avocado Jacquard Coat. I’d gotten to the point where none of my usual coats actually fasten over my belly and I also wanted a lighter weight coat for the spring. I’ve had so many compliments on the coat, it’s a gorgeous colour, and I am in love with the embroidery detail. Pieces like this that can be dressed up or down are what I love in my wardrobe. I love a colourful wardrobe, and key pieces that can be styled in many different ways. I have a feeling I’ll be getting a lot of work out of these four pieces over the next few months.
