If you’re looking for a great family day out this summer, then one of these fantastic British Food Festivals could be just what you’re looking for. They celebrate independent food and drink producers in stunning locations across the South of England including Bodiam Castle, Wimbledon Park, Leeds Castle, Bath and Sandown Park Racecourse from July to October. With face-painting, story tellers, giant garden games and much more, each festival offers a great family day out. Even fussy eaters will be tempted into new food adventures by the range of international and local delicacies, from artisan bakes and gourmet burgers to exciting street food and traditional ices.

Each venue has a great programme of demonstrations and tastings by local and high-profile chefs, including well-known faces from family favourites Masterchef and The Great British Bake Off. Spectacular interactive shows by stars of CBBC and CBeebies, and fun foodie crafts, workshops and activities will also be on offer at various festivals – see below for details confirmed so far.
