So that was Christmas
It
We’ve always spent Christmas Day just us – and that’s how we like it. It’s nice to have a day with no outside distractions, no other people to please, nowhere to go and no rushing around. Just the only five people who really matter to me.
We got up at a pretty respectable 7.30am, though it was nearer 8 by the time we went downstairs. Baya could hardly contain her excitement as we opened the living room door to see if Santa had been. And been he had… four giant sacks full of gifts for the kiddos, little piles for Mama and Papa and more gifts under the tree. Beastie wasn’t too sure what to make of it all, thankfully he had three big sisters to help with the gift opening! He enjoyed playing with things once they were opened though.
We finished opening gifts around half 11, and Mr Beastie had a nap while I sorted out the mountain of discarded giftwrap and packaging ha! G and I cooked a huge roast dinner while the kiddos played, then we all collapsed on the sofa’s for some TV and chocolates {!}.
Fun was most certainly had by all – the kids were incredibly spoilt with all that they got, I love being able to spoil them – we don’t buy every little thing they ask for day to day, so it’s nice to be able to make their dreams come true come Christmas – I think they all got everything that they were hoping for. Here are a few lot of photos of our Christmas….. hope you all had a fantastic one too!

December 30, 2015 at 21:40I agree! I’d been looking forward to it since September or so, and then all of a sudden it’s over, haha! But I had a great time!
Looks like everyone had a blast at your house too! And it looks like you picked some wonderful presents for your kids. I spotted some arts and crafts items in there as well, so I’m sure they’ll be busy and content till next Christmas;)
