Soniclear Face Brush // Moisturiser // Eyegel // Cleansing Water

Since having Vega, my skin has been really dry and I’ve also had a few spots. Not a good combination! Tiredness, bad diet and hormones all played a part. I’ve recently switched products that I’ve been using, and finally my skin seems to be sorting itself out.

I’ve been using this Michael Todd Soniclear, the world’s first antimicrobial sonic skin cleansing brush, and I think it’s fabulous! Having never used one before, I wasn’t sure how good it would be. You just wet your skin, apply some cleansing gel/water and brush away. The brush is super soft and rotates, cleaning your skin as it goes. There are different speed settings depending on what you prefer and it has a timer so you know how long to clean each area for. It really has made a huge difference to my skin, it feels so much cleaner than when I was just using a flannel to wash with. It also comes with a different brush head to use on your body. I’d highly recommend getting one!

HealGel Eye has long been my favourite eye cream to use. It keeps the skin around my eyes feeling refreshed and really helps keep those dark circles at bay [essential given how many night feeds I’m doing atm]. I’ve been using this Honey & Wild Water Mint 3-in-1 Cleansing Water the past few weeks to cleanse my face at night. It removes all traces of my make up and leaves my skin feeling really clean but not tight. Perfect.

As my skin is dry and really tight feeling right now, I’ve been using lots of this Body Shop moisturiser. It’s pretty thick and heavy duty feeling which is what I need right now. I slather it on and my face still feels moisturised at the end of the day, not dried out and tight.

What are your summer skin care essentials?

glad to hear the soniclear is a good little tool. I think I’m going to use my Birchbox points to buy one :)
