A Bathroom Makeover
I’ve
When we re-did the kitchen, I put down new flooring, Papa was unsure as to whether it was worth it as we may have to move in the next year or so, but frankly I couldn’t live with the floor that was there any longer. Old, faded, torn and just plain not nice – and the bathroom is the same. When he’d put the flooring down in the kitchen even he admitted that it made a huge difference to how the room looked.
We’ve been looking at different styles of vinyl flooring for the bathroom. Vinyl is perfect for us, as it’s not a huge investment cost wise, and as it is water resistant, it is perfect for bathrooms. I’ve spent a few hours browsing the vinyl section at Carpetright and there are so many different styles, colours and patterns available too it’s actually really hard to pick! We opted for a wood effect in the kitchen which looks fantastic. I’m loving this beautiful moroc vinyl – I think the mosaic effect would look great in the bathroom. New flooring really does add the finishing touch to a room, and can make such a huge difference – I just need to get this done before baby bump drains any more of my energy!
