2nd Trimester Essentials
1//
2// HealGel Intensive – This has been my saviour the past few weeks. AN ideal beauty solution for busy mums who want one product to replace their assortment of neck, night, eye creams and facial serums, this really does work. My skin is feeling so much more nourished and moisturised since I started using it.
3// Bump to Birthday Journal – I’ve really been enjoying journaling this pregnancy, recording memories, my emotions and what I’m thinking/feeling. Such a special time, and it’s lovely to record it to look back on.
4// Bath Bombs – I do love lush bath bombs, I *think* my favourite is the Rose Queen… or maybe Think Pink… it’s hard to pick, but when you’ve an achey back, and are feel tired and weary, a long soak in a bath with one of these is the perfect little luxury.
5// Spatone – an essential for me, pregnancy can be tough going on the body, and so often pregnancy can equal iron deficiency. Spatone is a great way to ensure your iron levels stay up, and are easy on the body to absorb.
6// Long Vests – I stocked up on a few of these from H&M, the long length mean they cover all of my bump! They’ve been great on their own through the summer, and as it’s growing cooler, teamed with a cardigan or layered under another top.
7// Maternity Pillow – I’ve mentioned this already in a recent post, but I can’t recommend it enough! I’ve been so much more comforable at night since I’ve been using it meaning I’ve slept better. Win win!
What are/were your essentials in the second trimester?

September 2, 2014 at 12:22Bath bombs for sure, they’re such a necessity during pregnancy! I think I spent about eight of my nine months in the bath. Hope you’re feeling well :D xxx

September 2, 2014 at 16:37Long vests were my total saviours and still are in toddler-parenthood – nobody needs to see my ass hanging out of my jeans when a nice long vest would cover it! You looked so great in your last pic, I hope you’re still feeling good!

September 2, 2014 at 17:04I remember getting freaked out early on with both pregnancies and having hot baths. I kept thinking scrambled eggs! By the end it was just bliss to be able to have a soak in the bath.

September 2, 2014 at 18:59I lived in some soft rollover trousers from Next when pregnant with the twins. Couldn’t get leggings to go over my bump! :)

September 2, 2014 at 21:40Cheese! I had a massive cheese craving with Belle, although weirdly I don’t even like cheese much, so would often end up with a massive cheese sandwich I then couldn’t face eating…

September 6, 2014 at 23:26I bought some hareem pants recently (mainly because my husband would hate them and call them MC Hammer pants) but they have been SO brilliant! I’m not giving them up when the baby comes x

September 7, 2014 at 08:45I wish harem pants had been around when I was pregnant 4 years ago. They must be sooo comfy. My favourite product in the second trimester was Love Boo miracle oil – so lovely to moisturise the bump and paraben free too.

September 7, 2014 at 22:33I have started using Spatone recently and I have to say I think it’s really helped with my energy levels. I really need to get some harem pants – great for comfy style
