Copper hair crushing
I
My hairs been back to red for just over a year now, after a brief dalliance with black and blue… it’s been red other than that for the past five years… and I’m getting the itch for a change. I’m really in love with these copper/strawberry blonde/ginger looks. I had a similar colour briefly when I was getting the black out of my hair last year to re-red it, and I actually really liked it. I’m so tempted to go for it! What do you think? I’m kinda into the idea of a more ‘natural’ colour {even though it’s still going to be dyed}, plus it will be closer to my natural mousey brown so hopefully my roots won’t be quite such a pain.
With the summer coming, I feel like lightening it up a little, shaking off the old and embracing a whole new me!

April 1, 2014 at 08:51DO IT DO IT! I just tried to change mine (from blonde highlights to more of an ombre thing) but the hairdresser said it’d take about 4 hours, which was 2 longer than I had whilst the baby was in nursery. Gutted. So do it for me!

April 1, 2014 at 12:30As a natural ginger I always find the swing between society’s love then hate… then love again of this colour really interesting! It happens to be a colour I love, and I find it far more versatile than most people would have you believe, so I say go for it! x

April 1, 2014 at 13:12That is a gorgeous color! I think it’ll look great. Love those bottom two photos with the braids. :)
I’m going the opposite and just dyed my hair dark, dark red for the summer! I’m naturally blonde, and had my hair light for most of my life, so I decided to delve into dark hair and I love it!

April 1, 2014 at 19:49Love! I am exactly the same and get bored of my hair so easily, I’ve started the process of going back to blonde this weekend after having it brown, red and before that black!! I also change my mind about my fringe all the time, just had it cut but don’t think it goes with blonde so going to grow it out again! x

April 1, 2014 at 22:06I agree with all the ladies here, that coppery colour is gorgeous. My son has strawberry blonde/coppery/ginger hair and I sooooo wish I could swap with him lol :)

April 1, 2014 at 22:29These are all gorgeous! I’m in mourning for my auburn hair, over the past few years it’s faded and darkened to a reddy brown, when it used to be close to some of these shades! I’ve never dyed my hair but perhaps I should try and recreate the colour it was too!

April 1, 2014 at 22:33These are all beautiful and would definitely suit you. I am forever changing my mind about my hair. Years ago I was dyeing it blue and pink. Then I did a pixie cut. Then I was bald. Then I grew it out and straightened it. Then I shaved one half of it and shaped the other half which was still straight. Then shaved it all off and grew it for years, letting it get really ratty! I really love my current curly, asymmetrical bob but every now and then I get the urge to lop it all off again!

April 2, 2014 at 20:37These copper tones are gorgeous, I think they’d look great on you. I always talk about going darker and then I get to the hairdresser and bleach the lot. Ha x

April 3, 2014 at 00:00They are all gorgeous! You definitely suit the red so well, so I feel the Copper is just an updated version of that. It will look beautiful. I am really boring with hair colour. I have wanted bright colours like red and purple but they don’t take and my hair stays black. When I found out I would have to take out my natural colour to put a new colour in I just couldn’t do it, so I’m stuck with this…until I go grey! ;-) xxx
