Home again >>>

As good as it is to go away, it’s always good to be home. The kiddos and I had a lovely week back in Lincoln, visiting family. Living so far away we don’t get to see folk very often. We had a hectic but fun week, ended with a couple of fabulous days with my dad. Baya was excited to get to visit the stables where I used to ride, and stroke a few horses – she’s as horse-crazy as I was at that age.

All our train journey’s went without a hitch, we traveled fairly light and I managed without a buggy which helped getting on and off trains. Friday’s journey home was the toughest as we were all exhausted  A long sleep last night and we’re all feeling a little more refreshed. Today’s been for catching up on laundry, clipping the chicks wings and doing a few house-y jobs. This afternoon we’re off to catch some bands as part of the http://focuswales.com/.

The only sad note of our holiday, was one of our guinea pigs died while we were away, I didn’t tell the girls until we got home, but there were lots of tears :( Poor Daddy may not be left in charge of the animals again!

While I get caught up at home – my shop is 40% off! Use code ‘homeagain’ to snag yourself a bargain.
