pictures of an ordinary day
There’s
My days always start with feeding the animals. Baya wakes up around 7ish and usually wants to get straight up to see the kitten! Once the cats, chickens and guinea pigs are fed, I get breakfast too! Yesterday was cold and wet and called for porridge with maple syrup and strawberries!
Rainy days mean no hanging the laundry outside, instead it all has to go in the conservatory!
There’s always fresh eggs to be collected in the mornings {as long as you can find them!} The downside to having free-range chickens is they like to hide their eggs!! It’s like having an easter egg hunt every day ;)
Time to take Lola to the musuem, the joy of living in town is that most things are only a short walk away. 10 minutes there and back…
Home for a snack… crackers and cheese were requested.
After which Baya decided it was time to make a cake {this kiddo LOVES to bake – she’d make cake every day!}
Amd Kiki got her pottery wheel out for some crafty time.
Back across town to pick Lola back up and home for some lunch
with Baya’s cake for desert {complete with whipped cream!}
Then it was time to take Lola out again! She gets picked up by friends to go to Junior Rangers at a local country park. It had stopped raining so we walked home through the churchyard and the little girlies had a run through the long grass!
I made the mistake of sitting {laying} on the sofa and must have dozed off for 20 minutes… woke up to find Kiki and Baya eating a bowl of strawberries watching Netflix on the kindle. As I woke up I could hear Kiki saying “She’s asleep, quick put another one on!
These gorgeous fabrics came in the post, I have a project lined up for them already.
My baby cucumber plants are growing! We keep them in the conservatory as it gets lovely and warm in there, last year we had lots of cucumbers, hoping for more of the same this year.
Papa came home, Lola came home, we ate dinner {cauliflower cheese} and then Kiki had arranged a ‘Kiki-land’ party. We played a pass-the-parcel she had made, as well as musical statues and musical cushions! She loves arranging little parties for us!
Kiki requested me to show her how to play ‘the clock game’ again… so we did {after we managed to find a pack of cards that had all 52 cards still} Then finally bedtime… I went pretty much as soon as the kiddos did – need lots of sleeps right now ;)

May 31, 2014 at 14:55My business is very encouraged with the way with words-at all together with with all the formatting as part of your site. Is this fact the paid matter or do you alter the idea on your own? Regardless stay inside the excellent quality publishing, it really is rare to check a great blog site exactly like it now.
