Weekend Reflections

Happy weekend friends! I’m not sure where this week went… or how we’re on the 10th April already!

The sun is shining today, and it’s so lovely. Three of the kiddos are with their Dad for the weekend. So I’ve been making the most of the quiet{er} house and finishing off my spring cleaning/decluttering. Five loads of laundry done and out on the line to dry… I’ve washed all the outside of our windows, and hoovered every nook and cranny upstairs.

Turns out Oren is a fab little helper!

I’ve just snuck in an hour of work while he naps, I’ve taken on some clients this past week, working as a Marketing VA so I’m just figuring out a new scedule to fit in all the extra work. But I am loving it so far. Feels good to be using all the skills that I have learned over the years at last.

My Mama is coming for dinner later – making quiches {regular and vegan}, some new potaotes and yummy veggies. perhaps another movie with Lola later -though last night, I couldn’t get Oren to stay in bed so he ended up joining us for Heathers!

Then tomorrow we’re planning a drive to the beach. I am desperate for some sea and and to paddle my toes. It has been way too long since I’ve been to the beach. I always feel so amazing afterwards.
