A lockdown photoshoot

I’ve seen lots of ‘doorstep’ photoshoots shared across social media ovver the last few weeks, whilst we’ve been in lockdown. Then a couple popped up on my Facebook feed of local friends, done by an local photographer. I got in touch, and booked a shoot – her shots all looked so dreamy and perfectly ‘us’.

It’s very, very rare that have a photo of all six of us, it’s usually me behind the camera, and no too frequent that I even manage to get a photo of all five kiddos together. Needless to say, I was very excited for our shoot!

With the lockdown rules relaxed a little, and the sun coming back out to play, we headed to a local park to meet Beth and shoot out photos. She was so lovely, and put all of us at ease, chatting and laughing while she shot some photos.

The results – well, what can I say, they are beautiful! She sent me an email with almost 40 images, just a couople of hours after our shoot – the hard part now is picking which ones to print out!
