Review | Epson Workforce Printer
Working
Compact enough to fit on the shelf in our ‘learning corner’ of the playroom, it’s easy to access yet doesn’t take up too much space. With its built-in WiFi it’s perfect for us as we have four laptops in the house, plus various tablets and mobile phones – all of which connect to it for easy printing.
As well as a printer, it also functions as a scanner, photocopier and fax machine. I often need to scan documents in, or photocopy worksheets for the kiddos and these functions are easy to use {my bigger kids can manage it by themselves}. I haven’t tested the fax machine function out – it’s not something I see me needing, and the printer would have to be plugged into the phone line, meaning I’d need to keep it in the hallway – in reach of Beastie so we’ve left that option alone for now!
It was quick and easy to set up, with a built-in screen telling you what to do, we had it connected to our router in no time at all and ready to go. Individual ink cartridges, for us, seem a great option as hopefully it will cut our costs down. We mainly print black and white, but sometimes colour pictures so being able to just replace the colour we need is great. The print quality is fantastic, and also prints really fast too.
One feature that I really loved about the Workforce WF-2750DWF printer, is that it has 150 page front loading, paper cassette – basically meaning that you don’t have to put a sheet of paper in every time you want to print and also that the paper waiting stays flat – our last printer loaded from the top, and the paper was forever getting bent and torn, which then meant it got stuck in the printer all the time.
Huge thanks to Epson for this printer- it came at just the right time as I’m getting caught up on paperwork AND getting ready for a new homeschool year – and that means a lot of printing is happening right now!
I received this printer free of charge, in exchange for an unbiased review. As always, all words and thoughts are my own
