Theraline Maternity Pillow
For
I knew that I’d only get more uncomfortable as my belly gets bigger, so when Boots and Theraline offered me a Maternity and Nursing Pillow to review, I jumped at the chance. I’ve never owned a actual maternity pillow before {crazy I know!} though I did have a wedge cushion when I was expecting Lola, so I wasn’t sure just how much of a difference one could make.
The Theraline is filled with micro-beads, meaning that it moulds to the shape of your body no matter what position you sleep in. I woke up at 2am the first night I used it to go to the loo, and was amazed to realise the pain that I’d gotten used to in my back at night wasn’t there! The following morning I woke to a back that didn’t ache at all. I have to admit to being surprised at how good the pillow was! {And as you can see, Baya thinks it’s pretty fab too!}
The pillow has a removable cover for easy washing, and comes in a great range of colours. I’ve found it great for when I’m sat up reading or knitting in bed too, as it really supports my back.
The pillow is also firm enough for you to use when nursing once baby arrives. I shall be looking forward to testing this aspect out in a few months, but until then, I’m looking forward to more comfortable nights and better sleep! If you’re looking for a maternity pillow, I’d highly recommend this one.

August 15, 2014 at 09:49Maternity pillows are a godsend aren’t they – the only slight problem I had was keeping them clean as they were a magnet for dribbles when breast feeding.

August 15, 2014 at 15:54I really wish I’d invested in one when I was pregnant with Tiger, I decided not to and got by but it would have made me life so much more comfortable! x

August 18, 2014 at 22:01I really struggled with getting comfy – especially in the last trimester, whenever I lay on my back I got very dizzy and on my side I struggled to get to sleep so I am seriously considering getting one of these for this pregnancy, the first time round I literally didn’t buy anything I didn’t need but with one active toddler sleep is essential so one of these may be too.
Thanks for sharing
