Life here is busy and good… we’re soaking up every moment of summertime, enjoying the warm days and light evenings {though I think we have rain forecast this weekend, boo} What a difference some good weather makes! We’ve mainly been living outdoors, feasting on yummy fruit, eating on the deck, laying on our new lawn, going to the river, picnics in the park… all perfect!

The garden is flourishing in this sun. My courgette plants are in flower so the courgettes won’t be too far behind, there are little green strawberries and the starts of lots of tomatoes. Soon we will be harvesting and eating our own produce every day – I cannot wait. The chickens are happy that I’m spending my days out gardening – me digging equals lots of tasty treats {i.e. bugs} for them to munch!

I was made for this weather – the long, cold winters that we have are no fun. Nope – this mama needs sunshine and warm weather please!
