Littlest Pet Shop Review

LPS Blythe playsets

We’ve been fans of the Littlest Pet Shop range for a long time… ever since Lola was just a tot. Those little critters are just so darn cute, I think I might like them as much as the kiddos do ;) Hasbro recently sent us three Littlest Pet Shop playsets to test out. We received Spa Style, the Treat Bar and Blythe’s Bedroom. We were especially excited for the Blythe set – I love Blythe dolls, and have loved the Blythe/LPS collaboration – we’re also fans of the cartoon!

LPS blythes bedroom

Blythes’s bedroom was the biggest set we got, complete with a Blythe figure, ‘Penny Ling’ and lots of furniture and accessories to complete the set. The other two sets both came with a pet character, furniture and accessories also.

We loved that the spa set came with a face mask for ‘Zoe Trent’ to wear!

The sets all come flat packed, but are easy to pop together and really sturdy once they are made. I love that they all stack together, great not only for play possibilities but also storage! The girls loved that the background was reversable on each playset, doubling up the fun, and that there were lots of stickers to customise the sets.

LPS hasbro

As a Mama, I love playsets that encourage the child to make up the story and get involved, and these certainly do that. My littlest two have played for hours with them already, and come up with all sorts of funny scenarios for the characters to act out.

I can see them getting lots of play out of these for years, even Lola at 11 was tempted to come along and join in the fun.

We were provided with the playsets thanks to Tots100 and Hasbro, and compensated for our review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
