Joules Winter Jumpers
I’m
I’m a big fan of Joules clothing – I love the colours and floral patterns that they are known for. When they asked me if I’d like to review one of their gorgeous jumpers, of course I said yes! The only problem was picking one, I debated for ages as to whether to get this fab ‘Season’s Tweetings‘ Jumper, though in the end I opted for this Christy Fair Isle Jumper. It’s not a colour I would have picked before, but now that I’ve gone back to blonde I’m finding that different colours/styles work as they no longer clash with my pillarbox red hair.
The jumper itself is gorgeous – silky soft and warm it’s fast becoming my favourite jumper. It looks fab dressed up or down – casual enough to wear around the house with the kids, but also pretty and stylish enough to dress up for a Christmas party. Most days I wear my usual ‘Mum uniform’ of jeans and a jumper, layered over a vest so I don’t get a cold tummy when I’m feeding the baby!
I’m actually in need of a good wardrobe overhaul, 90% of my clothes haven’t been worn since I was pregnant, and I feel like a good chunk of them are no longer ‘my style’. I’m becoming more drawn to the idea of a capsule wardrobe, full of classic pieces and opting for quality over quantity. I’m think come the new year, I’ll be doing some major sorting out. This jumper is a keeper – a gorgeous classic style, amazing quality that will last me a good few years.
I’ve got my eye on a couple of other pieces on the Joules site to build into my capsule wardrobe, and have seen some great kids pieces too – Baya already has a few t-shirts from Joules so we may have to do a little bit of January Sales shopping!
