Camp Bestival

camp bestival
{Kiki and Baya at Camp Bestival last year!}

We are SO excited that we are off to Camp Bestival again this summer! We went last year for the first time and had an amazing time! {you can read about it here and here}. There was so much to see and do, our days were incredibly busy. We were blessed with some amazing weather – I came home very tanned!

The big kiddos are most excited about seeing the Horrible Histories show again this year, and are also looking forward to watching the Insect Circus again, it was fun to watch last year {and I think made Kiki want to run away and join!!} Baya also can’t wait to watch the jousting again {simply for the horses!!}

Last year we spent a lot of time in the Dingly Dell {shade!!}, this year it has been taken over by Project Wild Thing, who are hosting a programme of nature-focused activities, workshops, gatherings and talks across the whole weekend.

Camp Bestival is a fantastic festival for kiddos of all ages, there was so much for them to do, and plenty to appeal to Mama and Papa too! My highlight last year was watching The Levellers on the Saturday night {which Baya slept through!}.

The kiddos are excited for some camping again, we’re once again staying in the Camping Plus fields, in almost the same spot as last year! We’ll be counting down the days until the end of July, if you’re undecided here’s Camp Bestival’s family fun video to sway you!

If you’re going let me know so I look out for you :) You can buy your tickets here – http://www.campbestival.net/tickets

    Looks like great fun for those with kids. I must admit I’m not a big festival person myself though, I’m too old to camp these days :)

    how cool do your kiddos look!! I think we might try and go next year when Wilf is 3 and a half and I think this year might be a little too young for him? I’ve heard such great things though! x

    After some pretty bad Glastonbury experiences in my teens (I seems to go every time it rained for 5 days and we were knee-deep in mud) i swore I’d never go to another one again. BUT this looks like a lot of fun, and your girls seems to love it so I reckon mine might too. Don’t really fancy camping when I’m pregnant though! x

    I can’t wait to go to something like this when Hayden gets a bit bigger – Maybe even next year. He will be 3.
    Will keep my eyes peeled for next year – Love the video.
