Happy Hump Day! This week has turned out to be a super busy one. It’s half term here – meaning the kiddos friends who at school are off, so we’ve had lots of play-dates, shopping dates, sleepovers, bowling games, etc… Lots of fun! It’s nice to catch up with friends that we don’t see as often as we’d like too. Lola’s meeting a friend this morning for a shopping trip, so me and the other girls mum are headed to Starbucks for coffee and a chat! Lola lost a tooth last night too – perfect timing for the tooth fairy to visit and leave some extra pennies.

We need to go grab some pumpkins later too – have you carved yours yet? I’m so far behind!! We have a friends wedding reception to go to tomorrow evening in fancy dress! Should be a fun Halloween. Then Friday it’s time to head home to my folks for a few days, see all the family.

That last photo up there is a board game we received last week to review. Santa’s Rooftop Scramble. The kiddos were excited {partly as I normally ban Christmas-sy things until December}, they have played it ever single day. You get to be Santa, with a list of presents to deliver. It’s actually quite a fun game, and has really gotten the kiddos in the Christmas mood! I can see many more games of this before Christmas actually comes. It’s a great family game for all ages, and one that’s easy to understand for littlies, yet fun enough for bigger ones to enjoy playing too.
