I’m feeling a little less than great this morning, after a night with hardly any sleep thanks to a troublesome tooth. Hoping I can get into see the dentist asap. We’re having a slow start to our morning. The big two are already out, the next two still in bed… Oren and I are eating porridge and listening to nursery rhymes.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see that I’ve just started working my through The Magic again. It’s such an amazing, life-changing book and one I love revisting frequently. I’ve saved all my stories relating to it as a highlight if you want to follow along. If you do, tag me in your photos, I’d love to share this journey with you.
Here’s my #threegoodthings for this week
1 – an afternoon by the river. The littlest three and I went out to a country park yesterday. We took a picnic, played in the river, collected rocks, fed the animals and just relaxed. It was bliss.
2 – late night ktichen gatherings. When the little ones are in bed, my teens are at their most awake. I love when we all gather in the kitchen late at night, chatting about this and that and just catching up. Some of my favourite moments.
3 – treating myself. For years I never did anything nice for myself. I either felt too guilty or that I didn’t deserve it. No more. Last week I took myself off for a massage/reiki/facial session and it was absolute heaven. I floated out of there! Its something I plan on repeating.
Tell me – what are you grateful for this week?
