Three Good Things

Good morning! The kiddos and I are enjoying a couple of days away, a very brief visit home to my Dad’s. It’ll most likely be the last chance we get to be here before the baby arrives, as by the next school holidays I’ll be 35 weeks and I’m not sure I’ll want to do a five-hour train journey! It’s the beginning of the Easter Holidays here, though Lola and Kiki are pretty booked up with drama rehearsals and then a show, so these are the only two ‘free’ days we actually have all holidays.

It’s always nice to get away for a couple of days, a little break from reality. When I get home, I want to finish off some jobs around the house before I’m too pregnant to manage them. THere’s some gardening needs doing too, I’m so looking forward to more long evenings sitting in the garden, with a fire on, tunes playing and my kiddos for company.

Here are my #threegoodthings this week

* SLEEP! ~ I’ve had a couple of really good nights sleep, which has made SO much difference to how I feel! I’ve still woken up needing a wee at some point, but haven’t woken up in agony with my back. It’s amazing how much better I feel when I sleep.

* FRIENDS ~  somehow, on days when I’m feeling particularly shitty, someone always seems to send a timely message or pop round at just the right time. Reminding me I am loved, and I am not alone ♥

* GROWTH ~ I was reading back through some old blog posts the other day, and it left me feeling immensely grateful for the journey I’ve been on the last couple of years and how much I have grown. There is no ‘end point’, it’s a continuous process of growing and learning and changing. And for that I am thankful.

What are your #threegoodthings – I’d love to hear them!

Here’s my button if you’d like to join in and blog your gratitude list!
