Three Good Things

Here’s to a new week. It’s half term week here, so the kiddos and I are travelling across country to spend a couple of days with my Dad and Stepmum. I’m hoping this sunshine sticks around while we’re away. It’s been a hard couple of weeks in some respects, yet at the same time, it’s been good. Trying to remember to focus on the good and ignore the negative {as much as I can}

Here are my #threegoodthings this week:

* SUNSHINE ~ I’m pretty sure the whole country sighed a breath of relief when the sun came out this week. Blue skies, warmer temperatures and the actual sun makes such a difference to live. Everything feels so much easier when the weather is good. We’ve been out in the garden, on our bikes to the park, the laundry dried on the line and the windows have been flung open.

* SUPPORT ~ Being open and honest on how I’m feeling right now isn’t easy {see last weeks post – When pregnancy isn’t full of joy}, but knowing that there’s a few good folk on your side helps

* DIY ~ is it weird that I love decorating?! I always have. I’m steadily working my way around the house, giving all the woodwork a fresh coat of paint and a few of the walls a touch up too. Getting the house in shape before this baby arrives!
