Three Good Things

Three Good Things

Hey there! I hope that you all had a lovely Easter weekend? Ours was fairly quiet, we’d planned to go up to our local National Trust House for their Egg Hunt at some point over the weekend, but they had to shut due to the amount of rain we’ve had flooding their grounds! Also, Baya was really ill all day on Easter Sunday so we stayed home and ate way too much chocolate haha! That’s what Easter is for, right?! Making the most of an extra day off today, before our hectic lives resume as usual tomorrow…..

Here are my three good things from last week:

* Childfree coffee ~ that’s a biggie!! The little three were with their Dad on Saturday, and the lovely Fiona was over in Chester for a wedding, so we met up on Saturday for lunch. It was bliss to get to sit for a couple of hours and natter when neither of us had any kiddos with us to distract us.

* Amazing days out ~ if you follow me on SM, or saw my post the other day, you’ll have seen that we went to Drayton Manor on Wednesday. I am so lucky that my job gives me opportunities to take my kids on fun days out like that – we had THE best time, and everyone wants to go back soon!

* Being spoilt ~ when you’re a Mama, you spend most of your time spoiling others, so it was lovely to be the one getting spoilt on Thursday on my thirty-seventh birthday! My kiddos did well with a whole heap of pressies for me – a lush new hoodie, a couple of cookbooks, these gorgeous earrings, a kettlebell, dumbells, a Fleetwood Mac vinyl AND chocolates! Add on messages from friends and an Indian Takeaway and I felt very, very loved indeed ?
