Autumn/Winter Essentials with Simply Be

Brrr. Its’ suddenly got really cold here in the past week. Well, I say really cold, but I know it’s going to get so much colder – but my sandals have been packed away, I’ve admitted it’s no longer realistic to expect to just wear a vest top and be warm, oh AND I’ve dug my slippers out {tiled floors leave my toes too cold!}. My plan this week is to sort out the kiddos wardrobes, pack away summer stuff and dig out winter coats and wooly jumpers. I’ve even given in a couple of times and popped the heating on for an hour. I hate the transition fro summer wardrobe to winter warmers, I love not wearing twenty layers and it takes me a few weeks to accept that the next four or five months are just going to be freezing cold and probably wet too and I have to wear lots of clothes.

I’ve been having a look for a new winter coat and a few new winter jumpers to add to my wardrobe. After last years bit wardrobe detox I’m in need of a few new pieces to see me through the next couple of seasons. I teamed up with Simply Be to share a few of my favourite picks from their site. I’ve been trying to add some more colour to my wardrobe as I seem to have a tendency to buy lots of black, and especially for the winter I thought a more colourful wardrobe might add some cheer to those grey days!

So here is a gorgeous, bright coat that I love – I think it would look great dressed down with jeans for every day, but is smart enough to dress up for a night out and a few cosy woolly jumpers to keep you toasty and warm all winter long.
