A little summer wishlist

All this rain has left me longing for some sunshine again! My fingers are crossed that summer starts again soon – I love those long, hot sunny days when we can go to the beach, or the river or even just BBQ in the garden whilst the kiddos play. It would also be nice to be able to get the summer dresses out again instead of jeans and cardigans. We have a few holidays coming up, and I’mtryingg to think positive that they’ll be sunny holidays and not wet, soggy ones.

To cheer myself up and try and will the sun back out, I’ve been doing a spot of online window shopping, picking a few new holiday dresses that I like, some comfy sandals perfect for long walks on the beach and a few other items that I need want for the summer hols.

I tend to go for items that can be adapted for day or night, relaxed dresses that are comfy for playing with the kids in, but can be accessorised to glam them up for an evening meal. A pair of sunnies, a few key pieces of jewellery and a jacket for if it turns chilly.

Now all I need is the sun to start shining again so I can justify buying a new summer wardrobe!
