Mama Style | A Summer Wishlist

lyst wishlist (1)

Back when I was a teenager, I used to love browsing through clothing catalogues and making collages of all the clothes I’d like to buy… fast forward a few years and I can now do that on the computer instead of on paper!  After clearing out my wardrobe at the beginning of the year, I’ve been giving a lot more thought to what I like to wear and what suits me. I’m slowly adding new pieces in, spending a little more on key pieces that I know will last years.

The problem with online browsing is it’s easy to forget what I saw where, so when I came across Lyst.co.uk I was intrigued. It’s a website that allows you to browse through hundreds of different clothing options from all your favourite brands/designers and save them to your profile so you can find them again. Lyst builds a unique shopping experience for each user based on their saved items. You can also follow specific brands so that you receive updates of new items/sales.

I spent a little while browsing for a few great additions to my summer wardrobe. Saltwater sandals – as soon as the sun comes out, I live in my sandals. I’ve been wanting a pair {or two} of Saltwaters for ages, so I think it’s about time I treated myself!

I’m trying to get out of the ‘living in jeans’ phase I’m in – love this patterned skirt, I always feel a little overdressed in a skirt {no idea why} but I think paired with a simple tank top or t-shirt, it would look great for everyday. Though I love this patterned Ace & Jig top for teaming with some cut-off jeans!

I love this denim wrap dress – great for breastfeeding, and easy to dress down for day and up for a night out. I keep finding myself looking at hats – I’m not usually a hat kinda gal, but feel like maybe I could become one?! I do quite love this Madewell hat… and it would be great for keeping the sun off my face.

Now i have the perfect wardrobe picked out, all I need is for the sun to come back!
